Fair Use Policy
Why do we need a fair use policy ?
XML World is committed to providing our customers with high throughput search and booking transaction capabilities.
We carefully manage our capacity and will ensure that, in line with the number of users on the platform and a usage profile that fits our customers, enough capacity is provided and distributed fairly based on a fair look-to-book ratio of 10,000:1
The purpose of the Fair Use Policy is to dissuade users that use a disproportionately large amount of our capacity (e.g. more than 10,000 searches for each booking produced) then this will drive up the cost of supplying the service to those users.
Therefore to ensure that we can continue to provide a high throughput, a Fair Usage Policy applies to the use of the service.
How will this Fair Use policy affect you?
The majority of customers that will be affected by this policy are those with a significantly high look-to-book ratio. We will monitor 60 days of traffic above the 10,000:1 ratio before we notify you. Those customers that remain above the 10,000:1 threshold after being notified may be blocked as per our mutual agreement.
We may revise our fair use policy at any time by posting the updated version of the policy to our website. You are expected to check this policy from time to time to take notice of any changes that we make, as they are legally binding.
